Personal Training
One to one training tailored to your individual goals and needs. This can be in your home, in the gym (Edgbarrow or Sandhurst Sports Centres), at work or outside. The choice is yours! During your free 1st consultation, we will discuss how and where you would like to be trained. Each client is individual, therefore, so is every training programme.
Family Training
Get your family active together and spend some quality time getting fit! Up to 2 adults and 3 children. Again, this can be anywhere that suits your family. (Unfortunately, under 16's cannot use the gym facilities).
Pilates
Choose a class or a personal training. Pilates is an excellent way to improve your posture and muscle tone and can help relieve back pain. Pilates is a slow, no-impact form of exercise designed to help mobilise your spine and joints while strengthening your core muscles.
Sports Specific Training
On a one to one basis, I can design an exercise programme specific to the demands of your sport. Whether it's improving your fitness, strengthening or stretching key muscles, a nutritional programme or sports psychology. Team training is also available. Speciallist sports are Ice Hockey, Roller Hockey, and Running, however, all sports can be catered for.
Powerwalks
Would you like me to set up a powerwalk where you work? A 30 – 45 min walk in your lunch break to re-energise yourself for the afternoon and improve you health? All you need are a pair of trainers!
Back Care & Rehabilitation
Whether you suffer from chronic back pain or have an injury that needs rehab and strengthening work, I can design a rehabilitation programme specifically for you. Working in conjunction with your Physiotherapist or continuing post physio, this is the ideal way to get the most out of your rehabilitation. This can include massage, stretching, Pilates based exercises, mobilisation of joints and strengthening work.
Posture Assessments
A posture assessment will identify problem areas and include an exercise programme to attempt to provide a solution. A massage may be recommended as a follow up treatment, or referral to an alternative therapist.
30 minute sessions
Ideal for lunchtimes at work or if you’re a bit strapped for time. Also great if you are happy with your cardio programme at the gym but are looking for a bit of extra motivation for the tough stuff.
Relaxation & De-stress sessions
For when you need a hand to unwind and relax. Stress can have a detrimental effect on your body and can lead to high blood pressure, tension headaches and stomach ulcers. Learning how to relax properly might be the most important thing you learn this year! This can also include a relaxing full body massage.
Exercise Referral Courses
By referral from a medical professional only.
This is a 12 week course, focusing on a holistic approach to getting you either into fitness for the first time, or back into activity after medical intervention.
Nutritional Analysis
A detailed anaylsis of your diet using a food diary and nutritional analysis software. A full report along with suggestions and advice for improving your diet.
Equipment
Any equipment needed for your session is supplied by your trainer. Items used in your session can be ordered and purchased through the trainer. Otherwise, I can recommend the best places to buy equipment at a reasonable price.
